“When I started, I was only going to come for six months - and that was in 1969! Over the years, I have had a number of different jobs here, including being a PA, setting up the customer service department, and working in sales in a customer service role. I’ve been in Fraud Liaison about 12 years. As a Fraud Liaison Manager, I’m looking to identify any fraudulent companies on the D&B database. It’s a matter of protecting both our database and our customers. If we identify a suspect business, we inform the relevant police force for that area of our findings, as well as relevant government departments. There are six of us in the team and everyone is always looking to help each other out and to share their knowledge. It’s a great supportive environment to work in. In fact, there’s a very positive atmosphere throughout D&B, and we’re lucky to have a management team who are good listeners. They’re always willing to hear your ideas as they are keen to progress forward with new and better ways of doing things. D&B is a highly trusted brand – it’s been around for over 160 years and it’s still going places. But, above all, it’s the people who make this a great company to work for. |
